Antwerp, 17 January 2008 – Linugen, Belgium based developer of Sipcat, a leading software VoIP phone system for the SMB market, announced today the immediate availability of its new hosted Voice over IP telephone service.

Sipcat has been praised internationally for its ease of use. The multi-language management interface (available in Dutch, English, French and German) has enabled Sipcat to spread rapidly across Europe and the United States, providing small businesses a flexible, low maintenance and affordable telephone system.

To provide even more flexbility to small- and medium-sized businesses, Sipcat Online now provides an all-in-one package, removing the need to own a physical telephone system. Only a broadband internet connection and IP telephones are required on-site to connect to Sipcat Online.

Available in over 20 countries
At launch, Sipcat Online will be available in the following countries: Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States. The service provides inbound telephone numbers in over 2500 cities in the available countries. Additional countries and cities are included on a daily basis.

Call rates
While offering a full-featured IP PBX, Sipcat Online offers incredibly low calling rates rivalling many other internet based telephone services. Each user account, receives 100 minutes free calling credit to fixed lines in Europe, United States, Canada and Australia. Extra calls to these countries are charged just €0.04 per minute. Zero configuration
Sipcat Online provides zero configuration integration with industry leading IP phone manufacturers, such as: Cisco, Grandstream, Linksys, Polycom, Snom and Thomson. This removes the requirement of complex on-site configuration of IP phones and other devices, allowing companies to set up the service without requiring extensive technical knowledge, or on-site IT staff.

Real-time service
Contrary to traditional telephone services, Sipcat Online provides real-time service. While traditionally, the addition of a new telephone number might take days or even weeks, Sipcat Online manages this process in real-time. Effectively according the new telephone number within minutes, all over the globe. All these processes are user initiated through the web interface and are completely automated.

Pricing
Sipcat Online pricing starts at €15/month, including 100 free minutes and 1 inbound phone number. A 10 user company, using two inbound phone numbers would pay €142/month while receiving over 16 hours of free call credit per month. Until the end of February, Sipcat Online subscribers receive a one-month free trial, allowing users to test the service without any commitment.
