Grandstream and Sipcat announce partnership
Tuesday, August 28th, 2007
When I covered the upcoming VoIP expos about three weeks ago, I mentioned we had an interesting press release coming up. Then I continued and forgot all about it. Luckily our friends at Grandstream did follow up and dutifully released it. So now it’s my pleasure to announce our partnership with Grandstream.
It’s been a little over a month since we released our last update and we figured it was time for a new one. This latest update is filled with requests we’ve been getting lately and includes support for dial by name, fixed timezones, external access to services (*xx codes) and much more. You can download the update yourself
Ok, so this title may be a bit heavy on keywords, but we’ve got some important news to tell. The much anticipated 1.2 release of our software is finally here, and to be honest the version number doesn’t do it justice. It’s more like Sipcat Vista or Sipcat Leopard if you will, but we hate version bloat as much as the next guy. We’ve taken a lot of time to evaluate and incorporate all the feedback we’ve received and included many cool, new features.
