That’s right, according to a recently published report, contact centers across the UK are generating 1.3 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions every year through commuting. When you extrapolate these figures globally, you get 9.3 million tonnes of CO₂ that would require 6.2 million acres of forest to “offset” these emissions.
