Sipcat 1.2.5 update available

Sipcat LogoWow, nearly 3 months went by since we released our last update. As you can tell by its size (a whopping 120MB) it’s a big one. Aside from the usual bugfixes and small improvements, this update features support for Snom’s new wireless handset m3. While Sipcat is generally used with ISDN lines, our analog using customers can now do routing on a per port basis, instead of per card. We’ve also included a DynDns client for people installing Sipcat on a dynamic IP address and we’ve updated the Asterisk core.

Lotus teams up with Cisco & Nortel

Sipcat VoIP Blog - LotusThe partnership announcements haven’t exactly come to a stop. After recent announcements by Dell and Lenovo, Lotus is lining up to announce its partnership with both Cisco Systems and Nortel Networks. The deals focus on the integration of the Lotus Sametime platform into both Cisco’s and Nortel’s unified communications platforms.
