10 steps to a successful VoIP implementation
Techtionary wrote a whitepaper for XO communications detailing the 10 steps to a successful VoIP implementation. While I think it is a little biased, XO’s name is mentioned 48 times on just 15 pages - it raises some interesting points. For those not interested in reading the entire whitepaper, here’s a short list of the 10 steps.
- Identify business and user needs
- Understand how VoIP works
- Assess your network situation
- Identify the right partners/providers
- Design the solution
- Select a proposal
- Install and test
- Manage service and support
- Understand your bill
- Consider future options
You can download the whitepaper here. XO will ask for your e-mail address but you can safely click Submit without entering any personal information and you still get access to the whitepaper. As usual, read it with a little reservation. What the nice image on the right has to do with this? I don’t know either, but if you’ve got a better suggestion to illustrate 10 steps to VoIP success, please let me know.
