TechNewsWorld talks to Mark Spencer
I haven’t really mentioned Mark Spencer on this blog anywhere. But if you don’t know who he is, you should. He is the original creator of Asterisk and founder of Digium. While I’ve never met him in person, we owe a great deal to him for creating Asterisk, since Sipcat would never exist without it.
“Historically our technology has been valuable to those who understand Linux and Asterisk, but now we’re bringing it to other technologies who don’t really care about the program,” said Mark Spencer, founder and creator of Asterisk and the chief technical officer of Digium. “It’s easy to start without having to know how it works.”
