VoIP over 3G networks

While it is already possible on some handsets, VoIP over 3G networks doesn’t make sense economically in most countries. Even where flat rate data plans are available, they usually contain some kind of fair use policy, which will allow the operator to disconnect you from the service at any time. Yet VoIP on mobile handsets is ever increasing in popularity both in the consumer as in the business marketspace.
